Their dynamic friendship has rode the tides of fashion and has transformed it into an amazing business partnership that set the first high watermark of achievement in the hairstyling industry in 1992, with official set up of NK Hairworks, their first salon in Parkway Parade.

Ninton Lee is an award-winning hairstylist, while Kennith Ching is a finalist of the “Golden Scissors Award”. Both entrepreneurs cum professional hairstylists share a common aspiration. Their experience working side by side and hand in hand, have culminated in a strong foothold for NK Group in the hairstyling industry in Singapore. Today, we have built a loyal clientele base and an impeccable reputation for trendsetting creativity and personalized service.

“Different Strokes for Different Folks” is the mantra that has been firmly highlighted by Ninton and Kent in the NK Group’s business philosophy. We strongly believe that all customers require a customized and personalized hairstyle that is in sync with their personality, which allows them to fully express their individual persona. Our ardor in providing fabulous hairstyling with enthusiasm has been deeply cultivated amongst the staff of NK Group.

The persistence, endurance and sheer determination in our beliefs have accorded NK Group with laurels of achievement. NK Group has been transformed from the new kid on the block to one of the pioneering hairstyling salon chains in Singapore with the opening of three more salons within the shores of Singapore – Anchorpoint, Alexandra in 2002, Heartland Mall, Hougang in 2005, and White Sands, Pasir Ris in 2007. Today, NK Group brings in over $3.22 million revenue annually with the workforce strength of 60 staff.

NK Group believes in constantly improving towards perfecting their skills and keeping abreast with the latest trends in order to stay at forefront of fashion. Hence, nurturing our staff to ensure continual learning has always been a top priority for the management of NK Group. Hair stylists are provided with ample opportunity for overseas stints, workshops, attachment with reputable establishments and participation in internationally recognized competitions to gain exposure to various artistic forms and latest fashions, which are later encapsulated into commercially wearable hairstyles. Over the years, NK Group is proud to acknowledge our success for many awards and claim our deserved reputation as a front-runner in the hair-styling world.

Our Products
NK Group also started manufacturing our very own in-house brand of hair-care products – Suisse Naturalé, developed under the joint effort from both founders. Our years of experience, bundled with a rich body of knowledge and unbridled passion, each range of Suisse Naturalè hair-care products is specifically customized to the individual hair type and the most effective treatment techniques. Currently, Suisse Naturalè is retailed exclusively in all four salons.
